This is one of the many cats from around Sita’s house in Vernon, B.C. We saw this cat from the kitchen window as she was busy eating some of Sita’s catfood. Definitely not a stray, but she seems to like Sita’s food more than her own.

By the time we got outside to say “Hello” our little ‘Minnie’ was high tailing it out of there. I guess she didn’t want to stay for dessert.

We managed to get a quick picture just before she ran off to the next house on her travels. We never did find out her name so she remains a mystery cat.

Here are some more pics from our visit with Sita in Vernon, B.C. OK, so she wasn’t on a hot “Tin” roof, but the title just sounded too good to pass up.

Sita has easy access to the roof at her place and uses it as another means of escape from Roxy, the family dog. Poor Roxy. Cats also love high vantage points so it’s a win, win situation for her.

From the roof Sita gets a nice high place to scope out the area and a peaceful retreat from Roxy’s over zealous playfulness.

Our sleeping Jasmine is the Picture of the Month for September 2007 from our post Eye-opening facts you should know about your cats sleeping habits. We love the colors and the close-up, tight shot of Jasmine with her paws flopping out and overlapping. It’s a fun sleeping cat picture in our humble opinion.
