How your Cat can agree to an EULA.

Posted by admin on Feb 20 2009 | Cat Stuff

Anne Loucks has had enough of annoying EULAs and has come up with an ingenious, yet sneaky, method of getting her Cat, Simba, to deal with license agreements (instead of herself) when downloading software. She gets her Cat to agree to the license. Her logic behind the idea is Simba doesn’t have any legal rights, therefore the agreement is non-binding or toast.

Simba, the agreeable Cat.
Simba, the agreeable Cat.

“It is disturbingly common for people to click right on through such barriers without even looking at the agreement. I totally understand this attitude. Reading the EULA is generally a waste of time. “Blah blah blah… bequeathment of firstborn… Blah Blah Blah… eternal soul…” and so on.

Of course, I have created a wonderful solution to this problem. My cat, Simba, agrees instead of me. As he is not a legal entity, I don’t really know how kitty’s agreements would stand up in court, but I like to think he would be responsible for any breaches of contract, assuming the agreement is even enforceable. After all, he is not even of legal age, at least in human years.”

Have you had enough of EULAs. Get your Cat to agree and drive those lawyers crazy.

How to keep your cat healthy with the right foods

Cat Food and Nutrition

We all want to feed our cats and kittens food that is healthy and nutritional. Smart nutritional choices in the food your cat eats means a healthy happy life for your cat. But sometimes it’s not easy to know what to feed them with all the choices we have available these days.

The cheapest foods or what’s on sale that week are not always the best foods to feed your cat. We’re nutrition conscious when it comes to our cats and like to get our food from the local vets.

Make your own Cat Scratch Pad

Posted by admin on Feb 04 2009 | Cat Stuff

We came across this great do it yourself project for making your own recyclable cat scratch pad. Instead of throwing away all that cardboard you collect from time to time (especially over the holiday season), save it up and try your hand at this cat craft. It looks pretty simple, quick and doesn’t need any special tools.

Cat Faux Paws for Jan 09

Posted by Pictures of Cats on Feb 01 2009 | Cat Faux Paws

< !– google_ad_section_start –>
It’s a New Year and we have created a new name for our monthly installment of outtakes. Mainly because we felt they weren’t really outtakes but rather cat pictures of an unexpected nature. We played around with a few names such as ‘Unexpected wonders’, ‘Cat Photo Hodgepodge’, ‘Cat Pix Surprise’ and ‘Cat Photo Bloopers. After some deliberation we finally came up with ‘Cat Faux Paws’. Based on the term ‘faux pas’, we thought it was a better name and a fun play on words. So without further delay, here is our monthly collection of Cat Faux Paws.
