Halloween is one of our favorite times of the year. With pumpkin carving, trick-or-treating and costumes, there is a lot of spooky Halloween fun to be had.

A tradition in many homes is picking out a few creative pumpkin patterns and carving up a pumpkin or two for their Halloween decorations. Our preference for pumpkin templates are ‘cat’ pumpkin stencils, of course.

Jade was stuck to me like glue today, rubbing and sniffing and meowing. I tried to take a picture but this is the best I could do. She smelt something on my pant leg. I don’t know what she smelt, but she was sure interested in it. Maybe I was in contact with some other animals in the neighborhood that day. Or maybe it was some residual juice from the can of Tuna I opened at lunch. AHA!

‘Today’s Cat Pictures’ feature pictures of our cats on a semi-daily basis that focuses on cute, lazy or funny activities from one or more of our cats. We may not have cat pictures from every day, but we’ll do our best. This feature is a spin-off from our Pictures of Cats 2008 Project.

These are some nice pictures of Spooky sitting in the kitchen at the end of the day. It’s quite late so he’ll eventually go upstairs and sleep for a few hours then get up and race around the house with the other cats until breakfast is ready.

Dax seems to be watching a Tennis match with all the looking back and forth he is doing. Well it’s obviously not a Tennis game. I guess Dax is one of those Cats who like’s to watch people work for hours. That’s hard work Dax, aren’t you tired yet?

Spooky’s favorite spot to lay down is on top of our big green comfy couch. He hang’s out there in the afternoon and comes back to lay down in the evening after a long, busy day. One of the best features of the couch is a back-rest to scratch an itchy ear on.
