This is a unique picture of a readers cat that was taken shortly after a storm had passed in their area. As the sun came out from the parting clouds a rainbow appeared just as Tigier was looking out the window.

Thinking fast, Karen, Tigiers owner, took a nice picturesque photo of Tigier with the rainbow in the background. Karen says she wishes the rainbow had come out a bit stronger, but I think it turned out pretty good considering rainbows don’t usually last very long.

Introducing Shane, a cat with a cute story about how he picked his owner. Shane’s picture come from one of our many readers. They also sent along their story about how Shane came to be their cat and live in the same house along with five other cats.

A Cat started coming to eat the food I left for another cat in July 2009. I didn’t think he was a stray but a few months later he came to my door on a cold and rainy night so I asked him if wanted to come in and spend the night.

He came in so quickly and he was not afraid of my five other cats. He was skinny and not very pretty. The next day I told him he could go home but he decided to stay, Three months later he did not look like the same cat.

He is very pretty and he is so loyal to me. I love him and he feels the same about me. My cats are all indoor. Most of them were strays. Two are Maine Coons and Shane looks and acts like a Nibelung.

We received this fun picture from a reader a while ago. It’s of their Cat watching what looks like an old B&W drama on their PC Computer. A great picture of their Cat although we didn’t get any other details. Feel free to leave us some details in the comments if you are the person who sent in this picture. We wanted to put it on the site to share it with everyone.

15 Year old Mikki the Black Cat takes care of her humans homework

Introducing Mikki and Oscar. Oscar is a young kitten of a few weeks and Mikki is a playful 15 year old black cat. Their owner enjoys seeing the pictures of cats on the Band of Cats and decided to share some of their own. We’re glad they did! We enjoyed these cool cat pictures and we hope you enjoy them too. These cats are crazy funny this time with all sorts of silly antics. Cats don’t really try to hard to be funny, they just are; in their innocent little way. These photo-realistic Cat Drawings are the work of a 38 year old graphic artist Paul Lung from Hong Kong. Paul’s pencil art takes up to 60 hours to create each pet portrait using a 0.5 technical pencil drawing on A2 paper with no eraser. In order to suspend the disbelief of some people Paul has taken videos to prove that these pet drawings are not photographs.

Today Spooky and Jade were lounging around the dining room. It was the perfect time for some pictures. I tried some close-up shots of Jade. The first picture turned out well but Jade moved on the second one although it still made for some interesting pictures.
