See the fun things for Cats and Cat Lovers inside Day 16 of our Cat Christmas Advent Calendar.

Here we are back in the Christmas tree having a great time. This is Molly who can’t help playing with all the decorations. In this pic she is in mid-swipe of a heart decoration with her sharp claws out. Yeah Molly! Please try to leave a few decorations on the tree for Christmas Eve.

Cat Care Tip – Paws

There may be times when your Cat’s paws become dirty or wounded with cuts or splinters. Clean your Cat’s paws daily with a Pet Wipe or damp cloth to keep them clean. Check between their toes and look for any cuts or sores. Also keep your floors clean and free of any debris. Be careful not to let your Cat touch any hot or very cold surfaces. Healthy paws will keep your Cat scratching, climbing and happy.

Cat Behavior Tip – Vocalizing

Cats communicate with many different sounds. Knowing a sounds meaning will tell you what your Cat wants or how they’re feeling. “Meow” can be a greeting or wanting food. Purring is happiness and also anxiety or sickness. Growling, hissing or spitting is a warning to stay away because they are annoyed, scared or mad. Learn more about your Cat’s language and become better at understanding your Cat.
