We are not Men, we are CATS. Depending on your age you may or may not remember DEVO an American band from Akron, Ohio who started way back in 1973. Well, they’re back with a new CD entitled ‘Something for Everybody‘, and they have something for us Cat lovers.

To celebrate the long awaited release of their first CD in many years, Warner brothers is hosting a Cat party at their offices and streaming the cat party on ustream.

Free downloadable fonts are available in all shapes and sizes. More free truetype fonts are becoming available on the web each day. For those not familiar with fonts, they are the type faces you use each day in your email, graphics and office documents. There are tiny fonts, bold fonts, fancy fonts and fonts that are symbols or images commonly referred to as dingbats.

There are a few computer fonts that have cat symbols or images in with a series of other images. We actually used a few of these for the Band of Cats logo.

Just recently we came across some fun dingbat fonts of our favorite subject, cats. We found assorted styles from silhouette cats to cartoon cats. We collected them together to let you see all the cool kinds of Cat dingbats.

Anne Loucks has had enough of annoying EULAs and has come up with an ingenious, yet sneaky, method of getting her Cat, Simba, to deal with license agreements (instead of herself) when downloading software. She gets her Cat to agree to the license. Her logic behind the idea is Simba doesn’t have any legal rights, therefore the agreement is non-binding or toast.

“It is disturbingly common for people to click right on through such barriers without even looking at the agreement. I totally understand this attitude. Reading the EULA is generally a waste of time. “Blah blah blah… bequeathment of firstborn… Blah Blah Blah… eternal soul…” and so on.

Of course, I have created a wonderful solution to this problem. My cat, Simba, agrees instead of me. As he is not a legal entity, I don’t really know how kitty’s agreements would stand up in court, but I like to think he would be responsible for any breaches of contract, assuming the agreement is even enforceable. After all, he is not even of legal age, at least in human years.”

Have you had enough of EULAs. Get your Cat to agree and drive those lawyers crazy.

We came across this great do it yourself project for making your own recyclable cat scratch pad. Instead of throwing away all that cardboard you collect from time to time (especially over the holiday season), save it up and try your hand at this cat craft. Here are some more great origami cats we thought you would like to see that continues from our first post on money origami cats. We found a cool ‘moneygami’ cat and some classic paper origami cats. I would love to see how they are able to turn a simple sheet of paper into these wonderful objects. I’m sure they take a great deal of time and effort to create. They are truly amazing to see.
