Introducing the Band of Cats

Posted in Dax, Jade, Jasmine, Pictures of cats, Spooky on Jul 28 2007

Here are our four cats we call the ‘Band of Cats’.  Spooky, Dax, Jasmine and Jade. Four housecats that have the run of the place and go outside in the back garden from time to time. Welcome to the show. Each cat has their own nuances and ways of doing things which creates some fun and challenging times.

If you enjoy pictures of cats, you’ll get lot’s of them here. So without further delay here are the band members…

SPOOKY
Spooky
Wake up Spooky. Spooky love to sleep. He’s our biggest cat. Spooky doesn’t talk much. His meow is more like a muffled grunt. He’s very friendly and likes sucking up to visitors, especially the non-cat people.

JASMINE
Jasmine
Jasmine likes everyone and everything. She has a quite meow and can’t walk past anything without rubbing on it. She is the princess of the group. Her appetite is endless and she uses her food radar to find the tiniest morsel we might leave unattended.

DAX
Dax
It’s not dinner time yet, Dax. Dax would eat all day if we let him, so would Spooky for that matter. Dax is the spokeman for the group. He always has something to say. His meow is heard throughout the house day and night. Eye-yo! He’s our big black, tuxedo cat and never passes up a chance to play.

JADE
Jade
The smallest and fastest cat in the Band, Jade is also the crazy cat of the bunch. She’ll pick the hardest path through the house or fit in the tightest spots and make it look easy. She tends to be a one person cat and is rarely seen when someone else comes over. We still don’t know where she hides.

So there they are. Four wild and crazy cats all under one roof. Let the adventure begin! So for all you pictures of cats lovers, get ready for a regular flow of images from of these and many other cats.

Ur cat is so ugly. It has an anorexic face, with a really fatass body. I feel bad for it.

Thanks for you concern Drew. Although I’m not sure which Cat you’re talking about since we have four Cats.

Regardless, whichever Cat you’re talking about and however they look is irrelevant because they’re all happy, well fed and cared for. Although it’s nice to see you so emotional about the appearance of my cats.

Your superficial comments are more a reflection of you more than anything else.

All of your cats are beautiful! I love your pictures and that the four of them are like family.

    Hello,

I think your cats are beautiful. I have 2 polydactyl, fixed tabby cats, brother and sister 1 year olds. I don’t mean to bother you but you seem to love cats and I was wondering if you knew anyone who might want to adopt my cats. Due to reasons beyond my control I have to give up my babies, but I do not want to give them to just anyone. I want someone who will love them and care for them as I do. I love these cats very much and would not want them to feel like I have abandoned them in any way, and that is why I need to find the right person to make them feel like I make them feel. They are smart, loving, clean, grateful, and have personalities out of this world. I would appreciate any help or advice you may have. I live in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Thank you.

    Sincerely,
    Denise

Thanks for the kind words in your post.

I don’t really know of anyone who is willing to adopt a cat. Sorry. But I will let you know if I do. If your worried about who takes them I would try looking in your local area. Ask all your friends, etc.

You might get lucky and find someone close to you. That way you could go and visit them from time to time.

If you have some good pictures of your cats and a description/story of them I can post something here for you.

Anyone out there (maybe in Mississauga?) willing to adopt two wonderful cats?

Hi Spooky, Dax, Jade and Jasmine!
First of all, HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Now, for a quick introduction: My name is Victoria, and I’m with Rocket XL, a marketing agency working out of Los Angeles. I wanted to invite you to join in a great project we’re working on to help homeless cats, kittens & animals everywhere. We’re working on a project for one of the world’s most successful pet adoption drives, Home 4 the Holidays, which has set a goal to place at least 1 million pets in loving and happy homes over this holiday season (Oct. 1, 2008 through Jan. 5, 2009).

We’d love to get your support and encouragement for your readers to learn more about Home 4 the Holidays and find their local shelters and rescue organizations that are involved. Here’s a link so you can learn more about participating shelters in 18 different countries! http://www.animalcenter.org/home4theholidays/shelter_map.aspx

Please let me know if you’d like to be involved in helping spread the word about Home 4 the Holidays with your feline (and human) blogging friends. I’m really looking forward to hearing back from you!

    Thanks so much,
    Victoria
