Spooky went missing last Friday and we been looking for him all weekend. We thought he might have been hiding somewhere in the house but we’ve looked in every room and under every piece of furniture for him with no luck.

Some how he managed to get out of the house without us noticing. We spent the entire weekend looking for him all over the neighborhood. It’s as if he has disappeared. He was with us at dinner time on Friday night and when I came to feed the cats an hour or so later Spooky didn’t show up.

It’s been a very upsetting weekend to say the least. We’ve started putting up posters and calling vets and animal shelters in the area. We hope he’s ok where ever he is. Spooky is an indoor cat and doesn’t know the world outside his house very well. We hope we find him or he finds us really soon!

The Humane Society has a helpful page for lost pets with some good tips on what to do when a pet goes missing. They also include a template for a poster to put up around your area which we used some ideas from.

We’ll keep searching for Spooky and hope he comes home soon.
