Dax and Jade went to the vets the other day. Dax was fine, but Jade had a bladder infection. We weren’t surprised to hear that since she’s been urinating outside of her litter box.

We got some medicine for Jade, so we hope once she’s better she’ll go to the bathroom in her litter box again. If it’s a behavioral thing for Jade then it’ll be a bit more work to get her to use her litter box again.

If anyone has gone through something similar with their cat and has any advice to share we could certainly use some help in this area. We’ve searched around the net and got some tips.

Dax wants to play with Jade and she just isn’t interested as you can see in the photos. Poor Jade. Get better soon.

The two cats in question are none other than Dax and Jasmine. Both of these cats are fine on their own but when they get together they usually have something to argue about. It’s hard to know what will happen when they get together.

This time I was caught right in the middle of another impending conflict. Not a good spot to be in with these unpredictable two. (I’m actually glad Jade wasn’t a part of this.) Anyway, there I was as Jasmine approached from the family room and Dax was on his way up the stairs. They were headed right for each other!

I was poised and ready with my camera and was tempted to say something like “Look out Dax” or “Jasmine, incoming at 9 o’clock!” But I didn’t say a word, stood my ground and watched to see what would happen.

I was surprised at what came next.

Here comes Jasmine innocently approaching from the family room and headed right for Dax.

Here comes Dax up the stairs right towards Jasmine.

Our cats are continuously communicating to us using their body language and sounds. It’s amazing all the sounds they make and the actions they take in order to tell us something.

Compared to the many other cats I’ve met, our cats are very talkative.

Most of the times we can figure out what our cats are saying, but there are those times where we just don’t have a clue as to what is going on.

Do you run into a communication breakdown with your cat? Wouldn’t you really like to know what they’re saying? I know I would.

I’m always telling myself, “Boy, if they could only talk”. Well, as it turns out they do talk to us in their own cat way!
