Here is our favorite Cat Pictures for October 2008. Our top selection this month is of our big lovable white furrball, Spooky originally from our Pictures of Cats 2008 – October 27 post. Spooky is in one of his favorite afternoon napping spots.

It’s soft, hidden and warm when the afternoon sun comes in the back window. We’re trying to find another spot he’ll like just as much since we’ve been getting furry butts sitting down at dinner time after Spooky has been sleeping there most of the afternoon.

Our picture of the month for September 2008 is Jade talking it up in the kitchen on a sunny morning. We really like how the sun is lighting her face and bringing out all her wonderful colors. We’re not sure exactly what she is saying but it more than likely has something to do with breakfast. This image was first seen in our post Pictures of Cats 2008 – September 14.

Our picture of the month for August 2008 is a funny picture of Dax that was featured in our post Dax Does Windows. I’m sure it’s his way of telling us he wants to come out since he can’t get to the door knob, but he would make a great window washer. Dax started doing this a long time ago. Since then Jasmine has picked it up but the other cats don’t do windows.

Our picture of the month for July 2008 is of Jasmine doing what she loves to do… rolling. This picture was featured in the Pictures of Cats 2008 project July 28th post.

Jasmine is becoming quite famous around here for her rolling antics. We thought we would highlight Jasmine’s rolling with an especially cute picture of Jasmine upside down and looking straight into the camera without a care in the world.

Jasmine is a fun-loving cat and her regular rolling sessions around the house are a major testament to that.

Our picture of the month for June 2008 is the ‘caught in the act’ picture of Jade, Spooky and Dax raiding the cat food cupboard. Jade is the front-cat with Spooky right behind him and Dax is keeping watch while the others are busy getting the loot!

They are well fed cats, but I guess they had nothing better to do and were up for a challenge. It was a well executed operation, at least unitl I showed up on the scene and caught them red-handed.

We selected this cute picture from the post ‘Spooky and Dax’s Snuggle Fest’ to be our picture of the month for February 2008.

We had lots of fun pictures this month, which made it hard to choose, but we loved this picture of Spooky and Dax snuggling together on the big green couch during a cold winter night.

We selected this picture of Spooky for January’s Picture of the Month from our Band of Cats 365 post for January 22nd. It says Spooky all over. As a permanent fixture on the arm of the couch Spooky gets his nose into everything around him, including us. We also liked the extreme wide-angle shot the draw the focus to his nose and how the background colors accented Spooky’s eyes and ears.
