Jasmine is our rock and roll cat. This time she’s shaking, rattling and rolling in the sun. She’s all shook-up. She’s twistin’ and turnin’. She is moving and groovin’ this time.
I think it was the effect of the hot sun on her fur. Having someone around to encourage her on helped a bit too! Watch her as she rolls into the ‘cuteness of rock ‘n roll’ record books.

Halloween is not Halloween without a carved pumpkin or two by your front door to welcome in all those excited trick-or-treat-ers. Every Halloween night we’ve had a carved pumpkin glowing in our front window.
Scary faces, witches and goblins will always make a good pumpkin carving pattern, but our preference is the ubiquitous black cat. The cat is an intrinsic part of Halloween just as much as monsters, ghosts and ghouls.
To further glorify the Halloween Cat we have put together a larger collection of Cat pumpkin stencils for everyone to enjoy. See our first list of Cat Pumpkin Stencils.

We found lots of new pumpkin patterns this year and there was a cat stencil in almost all the sets we saw. We’ll be carving a few of these cat patterns ourselves this year. If we could, we would use them all.

Jojo is almost five months now and growing like a weed. Little Jojo gets to eat kitten food. I put his dish up on top of the fridge, and there is no way Max can get up there. I haven’t caught him up there yet, anyway.
Here are some new pictures of little Jojo. He has grown quite a bit since our last post. Jojo and Charlie are starting to play together a lot more these days. Jojo chases Charlie as they both race around the house. Charlie is a girl and Jojo is a tom-cat.

Our sun-lovin’ cat came back the very next day just like clockwork. Jasmine was back again for more sun-lovin’ fun. Here she creates a dramatic shadow of her own while being surrounded with a silver-lining from an intense sunbeam.
