Jasmine, Dax and Spooky decided to sit in a circle while waiting for dinner one night. I guess there’s more strength in numbers. Normally they mull around on their own until dinner is ready. This time they seemed to be more social as if they were having a short cocktail hour before dinner along with a few nuzzles. How sophisticated!

Another big yawn from Dax

Our picture of the month for May 2008 is of Dax performing another one of his classic yawns and was featured in our post A Year of Cats - May 02. I know, it’s a cat yawning, big deal, right? But it’s really the way the picture was taken that makes it look cool. It fits well with the yawn. That why we picked this image for our monthly favourite. Enjoy.

Jade decided to mix things up a bit and break her usual habit of crashing on the big green couch for the afternoon and came to see what was going on in the kitchen.

Spooky and Dax were there as well, but nothing exciting was happening in the kitchen. I guess Jade just needed a change of scenery or some company. Maybe it was the warming effect of the sun streaming in through the back window or the lingering smell of last nights salmon dinner. Ah the life of a cat.

Whatever it was something attracted Jade to the Kitchen. So we just hung out and spent some quality time together doing nothing. Here’s Jade chillin’ in the Kitchen.
