After breakfast Dax starts scanning the backyard for movement and signs of anything. There was a nice late morning light coming in the window that made Dax’s eyes sparkle and shine. There was also plenty of activity in the backyard for Dax to see.

Jade and Spooky are keeping us company in the kitchen as well as keeping tabs on each other. There wasn’t much else to do other than going for a catnap. Once we were done they followed us around for a while until it was time for a snooze.

Dax and Spooky decided to hang-out in the kitchen to see what we were doing. It’s that ‘curiosity killed the cat’ thing. First Spooky had front row seats and then Dax decided to get a better view on the happenings. Maybe they though it would result in some snacks. Well it eventually got their snacks and they when their merry way.

So you think you can sun bathe? Well, Spooky does. As I walked into the kitchen today, there he was soaking in the rays. He was literally glowing in the bright Sun. After a few hours he was still there in the sun. “Aren’t you getting hot”, I asked. He just rolled around a bit, got up to drink some water and laid down in the Sun again. What a great way to spend the afternoon.

Spooky and Jade escaped into the basement today. Why? Well, let’s just say there was some high energy commotion going on upstairs that they didn’t want to be a part of. It was quite down there and they were happy hanging out with the boxes until things settled down. It also gave them a chance to spend some time together since Jade and Spooky rarely are in the same place at the same time.

Spooky our big white cat is napping at the back door in the afternoon sun. I showed up and disrupted his slumber. I got a surprised cat stare and then a big yawn. Spooky sat for a bit staring off into space and napped some more. It was a nice quiet afternoon for spooky.

A couple of donut cats on the couch snoozing away. Spooky and Dax are always sleeping in the same spot but not always in a mirror image of each other. Later on they snuggled together. I got a ‘do you mind’ look from Dax our tuedo cat, so I let them be.
