Today Spooky and Jade were lounging around the dining room. It was the perfect time for some pictures. I tried some close-up shots of Jade. The first picture turned out well but Jade moved on the second one although it still made for some interesting pictures.

Dax was mulling about in the kitchen again trying to figure out what to do. Should I eat something, or take a nap. This is getting to be a daily ritual for Dax. I guess he was a little bored.

Here are some nice pictures I took of Jade on a peaceful, sunny afternoon. Jade came into the kitchen this afternoon to keep me company during lunch. She obviously wanted some company as well. Usually Jade hides behind the couch this time of day. It was nice to see her out and about. I took a few more pictures of Jade after lunch of her on the stairs and near the closet. She loved the attention.

It was another play day for the cats and this time we had a new cat toy for them. We bought a cool cat toy called Plume Crazy from our local pet store for them to play with. Like most of their other cat toys we needed to play along with the cats which made it much more fun.

Dax was in the basement today looking through the French doors. Later he was up in the kitchen mulling about. Spooky was hanging out under the footstool again catching some zzz’s and afterwards he was walking about the dining room chair. It was a pretty relaxed, lackadaisical day for the cats. Nice and slow and relaxing.

Dax was walking about the house and looking all over the place today. He wasn’t happy sitting still for too long. He was up and down the stairs and in and out of rooms. I guess he was busy trying to look busy. Here is a fun bunch of pictures of Dax during his busy day.

Today’s cat pictures is of Jade having her afternoon nap on the couch where she spends most of her afternoons and Dax. Dax is in mid lunge. We’re not sure what he is planning to lunge at, but we figure it was something only he could see.

Okay, so what are the cats looking at? Jade is watching the closet door like someone is hiding inside. Dax is staring at something only he can see and Spooky is looking out at something or someone from his safe spot under the footstool. It seemed like something else was attracting the cats attention today, or maybe they were just being their usual curious selves.

The cats were off doing their own thing today. Jade was cleaning her fur on the couch, Spooky was napping under the dinning room table and Dax was aimlessly wondering around the house trying to figure out what to do with him self. Dax couldn’t sit still, Spooky couldn’t get moving and Jade couldn’t get clean enough.

Later on in the day we found on the kitchen chair hiding out under the table keeping nice and toasty in the Sun. Is he half asleep or half awake? How would an optimist see this little scenario?
