Here is Spooky in a couple of different spots throughout the day. Here he is coming over to say good morning and remind us to feed him. Later on in the day we found on the kitchen chair hiding out under the table keeping nice and toasty in the Sun. Is he half asleep or half awake? How would an optimist see this little scenario?

It is Valentines Day; the day we spend time with loved ones. Spooky’s first love is the Sun. Happy Valentines Day Sun, thanks for keeping me warm during all those afternoon cat naps. I can feel your love every time I sleep in your warming rays. Dax can too.

It has been a mild February and the Cats are very lackadaisical and thinking that it must be summer by now. Dax is walking around looking like a lost Cat. Looks like he is gonna follow us around for some mutual company until he gets his second wind.

Well, another year is behind us and new year ready to pounce on us. Thanks to everyone who took the time to drop by and visit us in 2009. We can’t wait to see you back again for more cat lovin’ fun in 2010.

We put our Christmas Tree up in early December and were very surprised that none of the Cats bothered with it or were even curious about it. Very odd. We started putting a few presents under the tree and the next day we noticed something else with the gifts. It was Spooky. He was sitting there as if to say, “were did the tree come from?” I guess he finally got into the Christmas spirit.

Ah its nap time in the Sun again. Will Spooky ever get tired of sleeping in the Sun. Probably not. It’s a way of life for him as it is for hundred of other sun lovin’ cats.

Its Dax’s turn for some Sun time on the back door matt. He didn’t spend much time in the Sun though. Do black cats get hotter in the Sun than white cats? I’m not sure but he’s decided to move on early and find something more exciting to do.

This matt isn’t big enough for the two of us. Someone has to go. Spooky has claimed this matt as his own when the warming sun rays are on it. Today Dax has decided to get in on the sun ray action and Spooky seems to be ok with it but not impressed. We’ll have to see who will move on to another sunny spot.
