Here is our latest set of outtakes for February. We took a bunch of pictures in February and as usual some just don’t turn out the way we had hoped. None-the-less these pictures are visually interesting, unique and worthy of the title ‘Outtake’.
So what makes a good outtake? It’s hard to say really. Most of the time it’s based on personal tastes. You either like it or you don’t. There are images that are just no good such as the bad exposures and out of focus shots or where someone has blinked, looked away or had some gunk on their chin.
A good outtake for me usually has some kind of artistic quality to it. Therefore I look for abstract things like shape, form, texture and color. Other elements like composition and subject matter have an impact too.
Anyways, I hope you find something that appeals to you in our latest set of outtakes.
