“The mad cat is Maxamillion. We adopted him when he was about two years old. He passed away three years ago due to kidney failure at the age of 16.  He had a black belt attitude even without his claws and he said what time we woke up and what time we went to bed at night.  He ran the house.

Halloween is a hectic and sometimes scary holiday for your cat. Here is a list common-sense tips to keep in mind this Halloween to help protect your pet from the ghosts and goblins.

  1. Try to keep your cat indoors during the days leading up to Halloween and on Halloween day as well. Some cats are used for pranks and satanic purposes by a few unethical individuals. Some animal shelters and the Humane Society will not let people adopt Black Cats from mid-October through to Halloween for this very reason.
